✧ Abu al-Raddad fell ill, and 'Abd al-Rahman came to visit him. He said: "The best of them and the most maintaining of ties, as far as I know, is Abu Muhammad." So 'Abd al-Rahman said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Allah ﷻ said: I am Allah, and I am al-Rahman. I created al-rahim and derived for it a name from My name. Whoever maintains it, I maintain him, and whoever severs it, I sever him.'" Sahih.
