✧ Tie up your waterskins and close your doors when you go to sleep at night, and cover your drinks and food, for the devil comes, and if he does not find the door closed, he enters, and if he does not find the waterskin tied, he drinks from it. And if he finds the door closed and the waterskin tied, he does not untie the tie and does not open a closed door. And if one of you does not find something to cover his vessel with, let him place a stick across it.
