أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
لَمَّا بَايَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ النِّسَاءَ قَامَتْ إِلَيْهِ امْرَأَةٌ جَلِيلَةٌ كَأَنَّهَا مِنْ نِسَاءِ مُضَرَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّا كَلٌّ عَلَى آبَائِنَا وَأَبْنَائِنَا وَأَزْوَاجِنَا فَمَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ؟ قَالَ «الرُّطَبُ تَأْكُلِيهِ وِتُهْدِيهِ» وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍعلى شرط البخاري ومسلم

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ took the pledge from the women, a noble woman stood up to him, as if she were from the women of Mudar, and said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we are a burden on our fathers, sons, and husbands. What is lawful for us from their wealth? He said: "Fresh dates: you may eat them and give them as gifts." Sufyan al-Thawri narrated it from Yunus b. Ubayd according to the conditions of al-Bukhari and Muslim.
