✧ Umm Kulthum bt. Rasulullah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا أَبُو عُتْبَةَ ثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ح وأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي مَنِيعٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ سَأَلْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ

عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ هَلْ تَلْبَسُهُ النِّسَاءُ أَمْ لَا؟ فَزَعَمَ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ «رَأَى عَلَى أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَوْبَ حَرِيرٍ سِيَرَاءَ»

✧ About silk, do women wear it or not? He claimed that Anas b. Malik narrated to him that he saw on Umm Kulthum, daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a garment of striped silk.
