حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ إِمْلَاءً فِي الْجَامِعِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رُقَيَّةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ امْرَأَةِ عُثْمَانَ وَبِيَدِهَا مُشْطٌ فَقَالَتْ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ عِنْدِي آنِفًا رَجَّلْتُ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ لِي «كَيْفَ تَجِدِينَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ؟» قُلْتُ بِخَيْرٍ قَالَ «أَكْرِمِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ أَشْبَهِ أَصْحَابِي بِي خُلُقًا»

✧ I entered upon Ruqayyah, daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, wife of Uthman, and in her hand was a comb. She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ left from me just now; I combed his hair, and he said to me, 'How do you find Abu Abdullah?' I said, 'Well.' He said, 'Honor him, for he is among the most resembling of my companions to me in character.'"
