✧ “Ruqayyah lived until Uthman married her. A boy named Abdullah was born to Uthman from Ruqayyah, and he died while young. After that, Uthman was called Abu Abdullah.” Ibn Ishaq said: “Some of the people of knowledge told me that some young men of Abyssinia saw Ruqayyah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while she was there with Uthman. She was one of the most beautiful of mankind, and they used to go to her and be amazed at her beauty, until Allah killed them in battle when the Negus marched against his enemy.” Ibn Ishaq said: “It is said that Abdullah b. Uthman died in Jumada al-Ula in the year four, when he was six years old.”
