✧ The Prophet ﷺ left Uthman and Usamah b. Zayd behind with Ruqayyah during her illness and went out to Badr while she was sick. Zayd b. Harithah came on al-Adba' with the glad tidings, and Ruqayyah had died. We heard the clamor, and by Allah, we did not believe the glad tidings until we saw the captives.
