حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنِي سَلِيطُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْعَامِرِيُّ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ لُؤَيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي سَعْدٌ قَالَ لَمَّا أَرَادَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ الْخُرُوجَ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ قَالَ
لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اخْرُجْ بِرُقَيَّةَ مَعَكَ» قَالَ أَخَالُ وَاحِدًا مِنْكُمَا يَصْبِرُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ «ائْتِنِي بِخَبَرِهِمَا» فَرَجَعَتْ أَسْمَاءُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْرِجَ حِمَارًا مُوكَفًا فَحَمَلَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَخَذَ بِهَا نَحْوَ الْبَحْرِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَا أَبَا بَكْرْ إِنَّهُمَا لَأَوَّلُ مَنْ هَاجَرَ بَعْدَ لُوطٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِمَا الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ» حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: “Go out with Ruqayyah with you.” He said: “I think one of you two will be patient with the other.” Then the Prophet ﷺ sent Asma' bt. Abi Bakr and said: “Bring me news of them.” Asma' returned to the Prophet ﷺ while Abu Bakr was with him and said: “O Messenger of Allah, he brought out a saddled donkey, mounted her on it, and took her toward the sea.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O Abu Bakr, they are indeed the first to migrate after Lot and Abraham (peace be upon them).”
