✧ Mentioning the daughters of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after Fatimah, mentioning Zainab bt. Khadijah, who is the eldest daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
لَمَّا بَعَثَ أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ فِي فِدَاءِ أُسَارَاهُمْ بَعَثَتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي فِدَاءِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بِقِلَادَةٍ وَكَانَتْ خَدِيجَةُ أَدْخَلَتْهَا بِهَا عَلَى أَبِي الْعَاصِ حِينَ بَنَى عَلَيْهَا فَلَمَّا رَآهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَقَّ لَهَا رِقَّةً شَدِيدَةً وَقَالَ «إِنْ رَأَيْتُمْ أَنْ تُطْلِقُوا لَهَا أَسِيرَهَا وَتَرُدُّوا عَلَيْهَا الَّذِي لَهَا»

✧ When the people of Makkah sent ransoms for their captives, Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, sent a necklace to ransom Abu al-As. Khadijah had given it to her for Abu al-As when he consummated the marriage with her. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw it, he felt great compassion for her and said: “If you see fit to release her captive and return to her what belongs to her.”
