حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ ثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

ثُمَّ تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ النُّعْمَانِ الْغِفَارِيَّةَ وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ شَرَاحِيلَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ بِهَا دَعَاهَا فَقَالَتْ تَعَالَ أَنْتَ فَطَلَّقَهَا سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married from the people of Yemen Asma' bt. al-Nu'man al-Ghifariyya, who was the daughter of al-Nu'man b. al-Harith b. Sharahil b. al-Nu'man. When he consummated the marriage with her, he called her, and she said, "You come to me." So he divorced her. (Al-Dhahabi was silent about this in the Talkhis.)
