أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ ثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ
وَتَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُمَّ شَرِيكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةَ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ وَقَالَ «إِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَتَزَوَّجَ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنِّي أَكْرَهُ غَيْرَتَهُنَّ» فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ بِهَاسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Umm Sharik al-Ansariyya of the Banu al-Najjar, and he said: "I love to marry among the Ansar." Then he said: "But I dislike their jealousy." So he did not consummate the marriage with her. (Al-Dhahabi was silent about this in the Talkhis.)
