Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Maymunah bt. al-Harith and stayed in Makkah for three nights. Then Huwaytib b. 'Abd al-'Uzza came to him with a group of Quraysh on the third day and said to him, "Your term has ended, so depart from us." He said, "What harm would it do you if you left me to hold a wedding feast among you, prepare food for you, and you attended it?" They said, "We have no need for your food, so depart from us." So he departed with Maymunah bt. al-Harith until he consummated the marriage with her at Sarif.
