حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ بْنِ مَصْقَلَةَ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنْ آمِنَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الْغِفَارِيَّةِ قَالَتْ
أَنَا إِحْدَى النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي زَفَفْنَ صَفِيَّةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَسَمِعْتُهَا تَقُولُ «مَا بَلَغْتُ سَبْعَ عَشَرَةَ وَجَهْدِي أَنْ بَلَغْتُ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً لَيْلَةً إِذْ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ» قَالَ «وَتُوُفِّيَتْ صَفِيَّةُ سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَخَمْسِينَ فِي زَمَنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَقُبِرَتْ بِالْبَقِيعِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ I am one of the women who escorted Safiyyah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I heard her say, "I had not reached seventeen, and I strove to reach seventeen years old on the night I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said, "Safiyyah died in the year fifty-two during the time of Mu'awiyah and was buried in al-Baqi'." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
