فَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَمْ أَصْدَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَزْوَاجَهُ قَالَتْ «كَانَ صَدَاقُهُ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنِصْفًا فَذَلِكَ خَمْسُمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَهَذَا صَدَاقُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ»

✧ He asked 'A'ishah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, how much the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave as dowry to his wives. She said: "His dowry to his wives was twelve and a half uqiyyahs, which equals five hundred dirhams. This was the dowry of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to his wives."

  • هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَعَلَيْهِ الْعَمَلُ وَإِنَّمَا أَصْدَقَ النَّجَاشِيُّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ أَرْبَعَمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ اسْتِعْمَالًا لِأَخْلَاقِ الْمُلُوكِ فِي الْمُبَالَغَةِ فِي الصَّنَائِعِ لِاسْتِعَانَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِهِ فِي ذَلِكَ صحيح
