أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ قَالَا ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَاجِشُونِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ «أَمَا إِنَّكِ مِنْهُنَّ» قَالَتْ فَخُيِّلَ لِي أَنَّ ذَاكَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ بِكْرًا غَيْرِي

✧ I said, "O Messenger of Allah, which of your wives will be in Paradise?" He said, "Indeed, you are among them." She said, "It occurred to me that that was because he did not marry a virgin other than me."
