حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَطَّةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ
«عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ أُمُّهَا أُمُّ رُومَانَ بِنْتُ عَامِرِ بْنِ عُوَيْمِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ شَمْسِ بْنِ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ بْنِ سُبَيْعِ بْنِ دُهْمَانَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ غَنْمِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ تَزَوَّجَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي شَوَّالٍ سَنَةَ عَشْرٍ مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ وَعَرَّسَ بِهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي شَوَّالٍ عَلَى رَأْسِ ثَمَانِيَةِ أَشْهُرٍ مِنَ الْهِجْرَةِ وَكَانَتْ يَوْمَ ابْتَنَى بِهَا بِنْتَ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ»

✧ 'A'isha bt. Abi Bakr al-Siddiq. Her mother was Umm Ruman bt. 'Amir b. 'Uwaymir b. 'Abd Shams b. 'Attab b. Udhayna b. Subay' b. Duhman b. al-Harith b. Ghanm b. Malik b. Kinana. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her in Shawwal of the tenth year after prophethood, three years before the Hijra. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ consummated the marriage with her in Shawwal, eight months after the Hijra. On the day he consummated, she was nine years old.
