حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ وَكَانَتْ تُحَدِّثُ نَفْسَهَا

أَنْ تُدْفَنَ فِي بَيْتِهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالَتْ «إِنِّي أَحْدَثْتُ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَدَثًا ادْفُنُونِي مَعَ أَزْوَاجِهِ» فَدُفِنَتْ بِالْبَقِيعِ

✧ To be buried in her house with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Bakr, but she said: 'I have committed an innovation after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Bury me with his wives.' So she was buried in al-Baqi'.
