✧ The names of the spouses of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو أُمَامَةَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ الْحَلَبِيُّ بِحَلَبَ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي مَنِيعٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ

«تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ امْرَأَةً عَرَبِيَّاتٍ مُحْصَنَاتٍ» تَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَلَى ذَلِكَسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married twelve Arab women who were muhsanat. 'Abd Allah b. Muhammad b. 'Aqil concurred with him on that. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
