حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الْعَدْلُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُعَيْمٍ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ كِلَاهُمَا عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«اتَّقُوا اللَّاعِنَيْنِ» فَقَالُوا وَمَا اللَّاعِنَانِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «الَّذِي يَتَخَلَّى فِي طَرِيقِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَفِي ظِلِّهِمْ»

✧ “Beware of the two who bring curses.” They said, “And what are the two who bring curses, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “The one who relieves himself in the roadway of the Muslims and in their shade.”

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَقَدْ أَخْرَجَهُ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ وَاللَّفْظُ غَيْرُ هَذَا وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجْهُ» أخرجه مسلم

    machine translation"This is an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) hadith meeting the criterion of Muslim, and he narrated it from Qutaybah. It has a supporting report (shāhid) from Muḥammad b. Sīrīn with an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) chain, though the wording differs from this, and he did not transmit it." Narrated by Muslim.
