أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ
«الصَّعْبُ بْنُ جَثَّامَةَ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَهْبِ بْنِ يَعْمَرَ بْنِ عَوْفِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ سُلْمَى بْنِ لَيْثٍ وَأُمُّ الصَّعْبِ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ حَرْبِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ شَمْسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ أُخْتُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَاسْمُهَا فَاخِتَةُ بِنْتُ حَرْبٍ وَكَانَ يَنْزِلُ وَدَّانَ»

✧ Al-Ṣaʿb ibn Jaththāmah ibn Qays ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb ibn Yaʿmar ibn ʿAwf ibn Kaʿb ibn Sulmā ibn Layth. The mother of al-Ṣaʿb was Zaynab bt. Ḥarb ibn Umayyah ibn ʿAbd Shams ibn ʿAbd Manāf, the sister of Abu Sufyān, and her name was Fākhitah bt. Ḥarb. He used to reside in Waddān.
