أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَعْدِ بِنْتِ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ أَنَّهَا دَخَلَتْ عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ فَأَلْقَى لَهَا ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى جَلَسْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ
يَا خَلِيفَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ هَذِهِ؟ قَالَ «هَذِهِ بِنْتُ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَمِنْكَ» قَالَ وَمَنْ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَمِنْكَ إِلَّا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ «رَجُلٌ قُبِضَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَبَوَّأَ مَقْعَدَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَبَقِيتُ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ»

✧ O deputy of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who is this? He said, "This is the daughter of one who is better than me and you." He said, "And who is better than me and you except the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" Abu Bakr said, "A man who passed away during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and took his seat in Paradise, while I and you remained."
