أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عُلَاثَةَ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ
قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَقِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَتَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي جُشَمِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ فَدَخَلَ بِهَا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَقَالُوا بِالرِّفَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ قَالَ بَلْ قُولُوا بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ

✧ 'Aqeel b. Abi Talib came to us and married a woman from Banu Jusham b. Sa'd, and he consummated the marriage. Then he came out, and they said, 'With harmony and children.' He said, 'Rather, say: May Allah bless you and may He bestow blessings upon you.'
