حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ بَكْرٍ الْعَدْلُ وَأَبُو مَنْصُورٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْعَتَكِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الْعَنَزِيُّ ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
«مَا بَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَائِمًا مُنْذُ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الْفُرْقَانُ»

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» وَقَدِ اتَّفَقَا عَلَى إِخْرَاجِ حَدِيثِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ «أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سُبَاطَةَ قَوْمٍ فَبَالَ قَائِمًا» وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ «مَا بُلْتُ قَائِمًا مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ» وَعَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ «مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ أَنْ تَبُولَ وَأَنْتَ قَائِمٌ» وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ الْعُذْرَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي بَوْلِهِ قَائِمًا
machine translation"This is a sound (ṣaḥīḥ) hadith meeting the criteria of the two Shaykhs, though they did not record it." The two of them agreed on recording the hadith of al-Aʿmash, from Abū Wāʾil, from Ḥudhayfah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the refuse dump of some people and urinated standing." It has been narrated from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said: ʿUmar said: "I have not urinated standing since I accepted Islam." And from Ibrāhīm, from ʿAlqamah, from ʿAbdullāh, who said: "It is part of harshness that you urinate while standing." And an excuse has been narrated from Abū Hurayrah, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, regarding his urinating standing.
