أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْعَوْفِيُّ ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ ثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ «كَانَ اسْمُهُ حُزْنًا فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَهْلًا»
