حَدَّثَنَاهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثنا جَدِّي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَا كَانَتْ مِنْ فِتْنَةٍ وَلَا تَكُونُ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَمَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ حَذَّرَ قَوْمَهُ وَلَا أَخْبَرْتُكُمْ مِنْهُ بِشَيْءٍ مَا أَخْبَرَ بِهِ نَبِيٌّ قَبْلِي» فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى عَيْنِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ»

✧ There has been no trial, nor will there be until the Hour arises, greater than the trial of the Dajjal; and there is no prophet but he warned his people about him. I will tell you something about him that no prophet before me told: he placed his hand on his eye, then said, 'I bear witness that Allah, exalted is He, is not one-eyed.'
