✧ Ibn al-Zubayr was mentioned in the presence of Ibn 'Abbas, and he said: He was chaste in Islam, devout to Allah. His father was al-Zubayr, his mother Asma', his grandfather Abu Bakr, his paternal aunt Khadijah, his grandmother Safiyyah, and his maternal aunt 'A'ishah. By Allah, I will call myself to account for him in a way I have not called myself to account for Abu Bakr or 'Umar. But he deliberately preferred the Humaydat, the Asamat, and the Tuwaytat.
