حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ أَنْبَأَ عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «احْفَظِ اللَّهَ يَحْفَظْكَ احْفَظِ اللَّهَ تَجِدْهُ أَمَامَكَ تَعَرَّفْ إِلَى اللَّهِ فِي الرَّخَاءِ يَعْرِفْكَ فِي الشِّدَّةِ وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ مَا أَصَابَكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُخْطِئَكَ وَمَا أَخْطَأَكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُصِيبَكَ وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْخَلَائِقَ لَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَى أَنْ يَعْطُوكَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُعْطِيَكَ لَمْ يَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا أَنْ يَصْرِفُوا عَنْكَ شَيْئًا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُصِيبَكَ بِهِ لَمْ يَقْدِرُوا عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا سَأَلْتَ فَاسْأَلِ اللَّهَ وَإِذَا اسْتَعَنْتَ فَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللَّهِ وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ النَّصْرَ مَعَ الصَّبْرِ وَأَنَّ الْفَرَجَ مَعَ الْكَرْبِ وَأَنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْقَلَمَ قَدْ جَرَى بِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ» عيسى بن محمد القرشي ليس بمعتمد

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: "Guard Allah, and He will guard you. Guard Allah, and you will find Him before you. Draw near to Allah in ease, and He will know you in hardship. And know that what has missed you was never to befall you, and what has befallen you was never to miss you. And know that if all the creation were to gather to give you something that Allah does not will to give you, they would not be able to do it. And if they were to gather to turn away from you something that Allah wills to befall you, they would not be able to do it. So when you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek help, seek help from Allah. And know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress, and with hardship comes ease. And know that the pen has already written what is to be." 'Isa b.
