حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ثَنَا شَبِيبُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَخْرَجَ فَإِذَا تَوْرٌ مُغَطًّى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَنَعَ هَذَا؟» قُلْتُ أَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ تَأْوِيلَ الْقُرْآنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the privy and found a covered basin. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Who made this?" I said, "I did." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, teach him the interpretation of the Quran."
