حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ قَالَ
جَلَسْنَا عِنْدَهُ فَذَكَرَ أَوَّلَ مَوْلُودٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ بَعْدَ قَدُومِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ فَقَالَ «النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ وُلِدَ بَعْدَ أَنْ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ بِسَنَةٍ أَوْ أَقَلَّ مِنْ سَنَةٍ» قَالَ فَذَكَرُوا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ فَقَالَ «لَوْ كَانَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ حَامِلًا بِهِ فَوَلَدَتْ بَعْدَ أَنْ قَدِمَتِ الْمَدِينَةَ»
Translation

✧ We sat with him and he mentioned the first child born among the Ansar after the coming of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Madinah. He said: “Al-Nu’man b. Bashir was born a year or less than a year after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Madinah.” He said: Then they mentioned Abd Allah b. Abi Talha, and he said: “If Umm Sulaym was pregnant with him and gave birth after arriving in Madinah.”
