✧ Some cloaks were brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and he distributed them among his companions. My father said to me, "Come with me to him, for cloaks have come to him." My father spoke at the door, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recognized his voice and came out with a cloak, saying, "I kept this for you, I kept this for you." This hadith is included in the book of Muslim, and I repeated it so that it may be known that he used to come with his father to the Prophet ﷺ, and al-Miswar had memorized the sermons of the Prophet ﷺ.
