كَمَا حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ قَالَ
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِعَرَفَاتٍ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ أَهْلَ الشِّرْكِ وَالْأَوْثَانِ كَانُوا يَدْفَعُونَ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ إِذَا كَانَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى رُءوُسِ الْجِبَالِ كَأَنَّهَا عَمَائِمُ الرِّجَالِ فِي وُجُوهِهَا وَإِنَّا نَدْفَعُ بَعْدَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ وَكَانُوا يَدْفَعُونَ مِنَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ إِذَا كَانَتِ الشَّمْسُ مُنْبَسِطَةً»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us at Arafat. He praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: "To proceed: indeed, the people of polytheism and idols used to depart from this place when the sun was on the tops of the mountains like turbans of men on their faces. But we depart after it has set. And they used to depart from al-Mash'ar al-Haram when the sun was fully risen."

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ «قَدْ صَحَّ وَثَبَتَ بِمَا ذَكَرْتُهُ سَمَاعَ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَا كَمَا يَتَوَهَّمَهُ رَعَاعُ أَصْحَابِنَا أَنَّهُ مِمَّنْ لَهُ رِوَايَةٌ بِلَا سَمَاعٍ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
