أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ
«مَاتَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ وَهُوَ وَالِيهَا»

✧ Abū Isḥāq Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ died at the age of seventy-five in Madinah, and Marwān b. al-Ḥakam, who was its governor, led his funeral prayer.
