أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
«تُوُفِّيَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فِي زَمَنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بَعْدَ حَجَّتِهِ الْأُولَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَثَمَانِينَ»
