✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made Islam public, all the people of Makkah accepted Islam, and that was before prayer was made obligatory, until when he recited the prostration, he could not prostrate until the leaders of Quraysh arrived: al-Walid b. al-Mughira, Abu Jahl b. Hisham, and others. They had been in al-Ta'if on their lands. They said, "Will you abandon the religion of your forefathers?" and they disbelieved. Ya'qub b. Sufyan said, "We do not know of any hadith with a chain from Makhrama b. Nawfal other than this."
