حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيَّ يَقُولُ «حَكِيمُ بْنُ حِزَامِ بْنِ خُوَيْلِدِ بْنِ أَسَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ قُصَيّ /63ٍ يُكَنَّى أَبَا خَالِدٍ مَاتَ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مِائَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً وُلِدَ قَبْلَ الْفِيلِ بِثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً وَمَاتَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ»
Translation

✧ I heard Ibrahim b. al-Mundhir al-Hizami say: "Hakim b. Hizam b. Khuwaylid b. Asad b. 'Abd al-'Uzza b. Qusayy, whose kunya was Abu Khalid, died in the year fifty-four at the age of one hundred and twenty years. He was born thirteen years before the Year of the Elephant and died in Madinah."
