أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْغَزَّالُ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ «قَدْ رَأَيْتُكَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَصَفَحْتُ عَنْكَ» فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ «لَكِنِّي لَوْ رَأَيْتُكَ لَمْ أَصْفَحْ عَنْكَ»
