حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ ثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثَنَا مَخْشِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَهُمْ فَقَالَ «أَيُّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا؟» قَالُوا يَوْمٌ حَرَامٌ قَالَ «فَأَيُّ بَلَدٍ هَذَا؟» قَالُوا الْبَلَدُ الْحَرَامُ قَالَ «فَأَيُّ شَهْرٍ؟» قَالُوا شَهْرٌ حَرَامٌ قَالَ «فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ حَرَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا كَحُرْمَةِ شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا كَحُرْمَةِ بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا لِيُبَلِّغِ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ addressed them and said, 'What day is this?' They said, 'A sacred day.' He said, 'What land is this?' They said, 'The sacred land.' He said, 'What month?' They said, 'A sacred month.' He said, 'Indeed your blood, your wealth, and your honor are inviolable to you like the sanctity of this day of yours, like the sanctity of this month of yours, like the sanctity of this land of yours. Let the one present convey to the absent. Do not return after me as disbelievers, striking one another's necks.'
