✧ When death approached 'Amr b. al-'As, he said, "Measure my wealth." They measured it and found it to be fifty-two mudds. He said, "Who will take it with all that it entails? Would that it were dung." He said, "And the mudd was sixteen uqiyyahs, and each uqiyyah from it was two makkuks." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
