al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim) 5854

✧ The virtues of Sa'id bin Zaid bin Amr bin Nu'ayl, the tenth of the ten.

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الْغَفَّارِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَتْ

غَسَّلَ سَعْدٌ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَحَنَّطَهُ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْبَيْتَ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَمَا إِنِّي لَمْ أَغْتَسِلْ مِنْ غُسْلِي إِيَّاهُ وَلَكِنِّي اغْتَسَلْتُ مِنَ الْحَرِّ»
