حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ خَوَّاتِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ وَأَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِكْنَفٍ
أَنَّ خَوَّاتَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ مِمَّنْ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى بَدْرٍ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ أَصَابَهُ نَصِيلُ حَجَرٍ فَكَسَرَ سَاقَهُ «فَرَدَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَضَرَبَ لَهُ بِسَهْمٍ وَأَجْرِهِ فَكَانَ كَمَنْ شَهِدَهَا» قَالُوا وَشَهِدَ خَوَّاتُ أُحُدًا وَالْخَنْدَقَ وَالْمَشَاهِدَ كُلَّهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

✧ That Khawwat b. Jubayr was among those who went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Badr. When he was at al-Rawha', a stone splinter struck him and broke his leg. "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him back to Madinah, allotted him a share and his reward, and he was like one who witnessed it." They said: Khawwat witnessed Uhud, the Trench, and all the battles with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
