أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عُلَاثَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ
«خَوَّاتُ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ امْرِئِ الْقَيْسِ وَهُوَ الْبُرَكُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ ضَرَبَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ سَهْمَهُ وَأَجْرَهُ»
