حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرِو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَطَرٍ الْعَدْلُ الزَّاهِدُ وَأَنَا سَأَلْتُهُ ثَنَا أَبُو حَبِيبٍ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْقَاضِي ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الطَّلْحِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ الْحُصَيْنُ بْنُ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي الْمُهَاجِرِينَ الْأَوَّلِينَ هُمُ السَّابِقُونَ الشَّافِعُونَ الْمُدِلُّونَ عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْتُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَعَلَى عَوَاتِقِهِمُ السِّلَاحُ فَيَقْرَعُونَ بَابَ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَقُولُ لَهُمُ الْخَزَنَةُ مَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ فَتَقُولُ لَهُمُ الْخَزَنَةُ هَلْ حُوسِبْتُمْ؟ فَيَجْثُونَ عَلَى رُكَبِهِمْ وَيَنْثُرونَ مَا فِي جِعَابِهِمْ وَيَرْفَعُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَيَقُولُونَ أَيْ رَبِّ وَمَاذَا نُحَاسَبُ؟ فَقَدْ خَرَجْنَا وَتَرَكْنَا الْأَهْلَ وَالْمَالَ وَالْوَلَدَ فَيُمَثِّلُ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ أَجْنِحَةً مِنْ ذَهَبٍ مُخَوَّصَةً بِالزَّبَرْجَدِ وَالْيَاقُوتِ فَيَطِيرُونَ حَتَّى يَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ {وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ} [فاطر 34] الْآيَةَ إِلَى {لُغُوبٍ} [فاطر 35] قَالَ أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ قَالَ صَيْفِيٌّ قَالَ صُهَيْبٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فَلَهُمْ بِمَنَازِلِهِمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَعْرَفُ مِنْهُمْ بِمَنَازِلِهِمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا» غَرِيبُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَالْمَتْنِ «ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي مَنَاقِبِ صُهَيْبٍ لِأَنَّهُ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالرَّاوِي لِلْحَدِيثِ أَعْقَابُهُ وَالْحَدِيثُ لِأَصْحَابِهِ وَلَمْ نَكْتُبْهُ إِلَّا عَنْ شَيْخِنَا الزَّاهِدِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ» بل كذب وإسناده مظلم

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say regarding the first emigrants: "They are the foremost, the intercessors, those who draw near to their Lord, Blessed and Exalted. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, they will come on the Day of Resurrection with weapons on their shoulders, and they will knock on the gate of Paradise. The keepers will say to them: 'Who are you?' They will say: 'We are the emigrants.' The keepers will say to them: 'Have you been brought to account?' They will kneel on their knees, scatter what is in their quivers, and raise their hands to the sky, saying: 'O Lord, what account are we to give? We went out and left family, wealth, and children.' So Allah will fashion for them wings of gold, inlaid with chrysolite and rubies, and they will fly until they enter Paradise. That is His saying: {And they said, Praise be to Allah who has removed from us sorrow} [Fatir 34] to the verse {nor fatigue} [Fatir 35]." Abu Hudhayfah said: Hudhayfah said: Sayfi said: Suhaib said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "They will know their dwellings in Paradise better than they know their dwellings in this world." Its chain and text are strange. "I mentioned it in the virtues of Suhaib because he was among the first emigrants, and the narrator of the hadith is his descendants. The hadith belongs to his companions, and we did not write it except from our shaykh, the ascetic Abu 'Amr, may Allah have mercy on him." Rather, it is a lie and its chain is dark.
