✧ The virtue of Khubbab b. al-Aratt, also known as Abu Abdullah: The controversy surrounding his lineage has increased, and it was said that Khubbab is an ally of the Banu Zuhra.

كَمَا أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقْرِئُ ثَنَا أَبُو عِيسَى التِّرْمِذِيُّ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الصُّدَائِيُّ ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
«خَبَّابُ بْنُ الْأَرَتِّ مَوْلَى عُتْبَةَ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ» «وَأَصَحُّ هَذِهِ الْأَقَاوِيلِ قَوْلُ الزُّهْرِيِّ فَإِنَّ الرِّوَايَةَ إِلَيْهِ صَحِيحَةٌ»
