✧ "Talha entered upon me, and I found him distressed." I said, "Why do I see you with a grim face? Has something in our affair troubled you?" He said, "No, by Allah, nothing in your affair troubled me, and you are an excellent wife, but wealth has accumulated with me." She said, "Then send to your household and your people and distribute it among them." She said: He did so, and I asked the treasurer how much he distributed. He said, "Four hundred thousand, and his income every day was one thousand dirhams." He said: He was called Talha the Generous. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
