✧ When we finished the fighting of the Camel, Ali, al-Husayn b. Ali, Ammar b. Yasir, Sa'sa'a b. Suhan, al-Ashtar, and Muhammad b. Abi Bakr stood up and went around among the slain. Al-Hasan b. Ali saw a slain man lying face down, so he turned him onto his back and said, "Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we return—a fledgling of Quraysh, by Allah!" His father said to him, "What is it, my son?" He said, "Muhammad b. Talha." He said, "Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we return. As far as I knew, he was a righteous young man." Then he sat down gloomy and sad.
