أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ شُيُوخِهِ قَالُوا
خَرَجَ الزُّبَيْرُ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ وَذَلِكَ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ لِعَشْرٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ جُمَادَى الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ بَعْدَ الْوَقْعَةِ عَلَى فَرَسٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ ذُو الْخِمَارِ مُنْطَلِقًا نَحْوَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقُتِلَ بِوَادِي السِّبَاعِ وَدُفِنَ هُنَاكَ
Translation

✧ Zubayr went out on the Day of the Camel, which was Thursday, ten nights having passed of Jumada al-Akhirah of this year, after the battle, on a horse called Dhu al-Khimar, heading toward Madinah. He was killed in Wadi al-Siba' and buried there.
