أَخْبَرَنَا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْعَقَبِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْبَلَدِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ فَقَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «سَيَلِيكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ بَعْدِي يُعَرِّفُونَكُمْ مَا تُنْكِرُونَ وَيُنْكِرُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ مَا تَعْرِفُونَ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَلَا طَاعَةَ لِمَنْ عَصَى اللَّهَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "After me, rulers will govern you who will make you recognize what you disapprove and will disapprove of what you recognize. Whoever among you lives to see that, then there is no obedience to the one who disobeys Allah."
