أَخْبَرْنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُكْرَمِ ابْنِ أَخِي الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ الْبَزَّارُ بِبَغْدَادَ أَنَا عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثَنَا سَيْفُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ الْأُسْوَارِيُّ ثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنِ الْمُنْتَصِرِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ
إِذَا اقْتَرَبَ الزَّمَانُ كَثُرَ لُبْسُ الطَّيَالِسَةِ وَكَثُرَتِ التِّجَارَةُ وَكَثُرَ الْمَالُ وَعَظُمَ رَبُّ الْمَالِ بِمَالِهِ وَكَثُرَتِ الْفَاحِشَةُ وَكَانَتْ إِمَارَةُ الصِّبْيَانِ وَكَثُرَ النِّسَاءُ وَجَارَ السُّلْطَانُ وَطُفِّفَ فِي الْمِكْيَالِ وَالْمِيزَانِ وَيُرَبِّي الرَّجُلُ جِرْوَ كَلْبٍ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يُرَبِّيَ وَلَدًا لَهُ وَلَا يُوَقَّرُ كَبِيرٌ وَلَا يُرْحَمُ صَغِيرٌ وَيَكْثُرُ أَوْلَادُ الزِّنَا حَتَّى أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَغْشَى الْمَرْأَةَ عَلَى قَارِعَةِ الطَّرِيقِ فَيَقُولُ أَمْثَلُهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ الزَّمَانِ لَوِ اعْتَزَلْتُمَا عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ وَيَلْبَسُونَ جُلُودَ الضَّأْنِ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الذِّئَابِ أَمْثَلُهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ الزَّمَانِ الْمَدَاهِنُ

✧ When time draws near, wearing of tayalisah becomes widespread, trade increases, wealth increases, the owner of wealth becomes great because of his wealth, indecency increases, there will be the rule of boys, women become numerous, the ruler oppresses, short measure is given in the measuring vessel and the scale, and a man raising a puppy is better for him than raising a child of his own. The old are not respected, the young are not shown mercy, and children of adultery become so many that a man will have intercourse with a woman on the main road, and the best of them in that time will say, 'If only you two had withdrawn from the road.' They will wear sheepskins over wolves' hearts; the best of them in that time will be the sycophant.
