حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ

أَبُو ذَرٍّ جُنْدُبِ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ وَقِيلَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ تُوُفِّيَ بِالرَّبَذَةِ سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ فَقِيلَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَقِيلَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيُّ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Bālawayh
  2. Ibrāhīm b. Isḥāq al-Ḥarbī
  3. Muṣʿab b. ʿAbdullāh al-Zubayrī

✧ Abu Dharr was Jundub b. Junadah, and it is said Yazid b. Junadah. He died at al-Rabadhah in the year thirty-two. They differed over who prayed over him: it is said Abdullah b. Mas'ud, and it is said Jarir b. Abdullah al-Bajali.
