Show the chain

✧ A man mentioned Abu Al-Abbas, so Al-Abbas slapped him. They gathered and said, "By Allah, we will also slap Al-Abbas as he slapped him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed of this, so he delivered a sermon and said, "Who is the most honorable person in the sight of Allah?" They replied, "You, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Indeed, Al-Abbas is from me, and I am from him. Do not insult our dead, for it hurts our living."
